The 640 thermal sensor maintains the same 12µm pixel pitch and 8–14µm LWIR spectral band as the smaller 384 module but expands the field of view to 45.9° × 36.9°. The result: dramatically improved target identification range, finer thermal anomaly detection on industrial assets, and significantly sharper imagery during search-and-rescue operations where every pixel of definition matters.
The 1 TOPS image-processing board, YOLOv7-derived multi-target tracking, crosshair auto-lock, dynamic memory tracking, and picture-in-picture architecture all carry over unchanged from the standard ST. The AI VisionCube ST Pro identifies up to 50 dynamic targets simultaneously, locks onto subjects in 0.5 seconds, and re-acquires occluded targets within three seconds via Kalman-based trajectory memory.
Mechanical integration remains effortless: 9–16V input, CRSF protocol, BetaFlight and ArduPilot firmware, sub-200g total kit weight, and integration into 7-inch industrial UAV airframes in under five minutes. The 640 thermal module measures 26×26×21.1mm (excluding lens) and weighs ≤23g, keeping the AI VisionCube ST Pro within the same payload envelope as smaller variants while delivering best-in-class thermal resolution.
