The AI VisionCube ST is a single visible-light camera plus 384×288 uncooled thermal in one integrated AI tracking kit. 1 TOPS compute drives crosshair auto-lock, multi-target detection and dynamic memory tracking across day, night and obscured conditions — switchable between visible and thermal feeds via remote-control channel.
Switchable thermal channel detects human heat signatures through smoke, foliage and total darkness, while the visible camera delivers contextual scene awareness via picture-in-picture.
Continuous 24/7 target identification across −20°C to 60°C operating range, with adaptive crosshair auto-lock keeping intruders centered through evasive movement.
Multi-spectrum imaging surfaces thermal anomalies in solar arrays, substations, pipelines and building envelopes that visible-light alone would miss.
The AI VisionCube ST extends the entry-level AI VisionCube platform with a 384×288 uncooled thermal imaging camera, giving UAV operators true day-and-night perception in a single integrated kit. Onboard 1 TOPS compute drives YOLOv7-based parallel multi-target processing across both visible and thermal channels, identifying up to 50 dynamic targets per frame regardless of lighting conditions.
The 384 thermal module operates in the 8–14µm long-wave infrared band with a 12µm pixel pitch and 9.1mm focal length, producing 384×288 imagery at 25Hz. Spanning a −20°C to 60°C operating temperature window, the AI VisionCube ST surfaces heat signatures from people, vehicles, and equipment that would be invisible to the visible camera alone — through smoke, foliage, total darkness, and adverse weather.
Picture-in-picture display combines the wide visible-light view with a focused thermal sub-view, allowing the pilot to monitor environmental context and target detail simultaneously. Crosshair auto-lock, Kalman trajectory memory, and adaptive snap-tracking work identically across both spectral channels — switchable on the fly via remote-control channel 9.
Mechanical and electrical integration matches the visible-only S variant: 9–16V input, CRSF protocol, BetaFlight and ArduPilot firmware, modular form factor, end-to-end video latency under 60ms. The thermal module connects via standard 4-pin USB cable, total kit weight remains under 200 grams, and the AI VisionCube ST drops into existing 7-inch and larger UAV airframes with the same five-minute integration time as the rest of the family.
